Keyworker

I joined Brighter Futures in 2011 after completing a Social Sciences degree. I volunteered here for two months and I was then offered the role of Keyworker.

I was previously the lead for our Circle of Security group.

From January 2022, I'm focusing on the transition of our clients into Brighter Futures. the Transition team are responsible for meeting all of our newly referred families and we then refer our newly welcomed families to their keyworker. I complete any paperwork and ensure that they are settled in with a group.

I also check in with our clients and see how they are getting on and I am responsible for the discharge audit, when clients conclude their journey with Brighter Futures.

I love the variety of my role and knowing that I am making a difference.
