Community Engagement Officer:
Having joined Brighter Futures in 2018, I have undertaken the role of Community Engagement Officer with full enthusiasm and flair. Previous to Brighter Futures I worked for over 20 years in the hospitality and events industry, organising weddings and large events, my organisational transferable skills have been put to full use in raising funds and awareness for Brighter Futures. My vast role now includes marketing and communications, writing of applications and reports, as well as events and creating fundraising opportunities.
Being such a diverse charity, working at Brighter Futures brings me a lot of rewards. My satisfaction comes from the team I work alongside and the people I get to meet every day. I hope that one day, Brighter Futures becomes a household name and is a top consideration for Islanders who wish to help us. Seeing every day the changes Brighter Futures makes is really close to my heart and very rewarding to say the least.
