Timothy Le Cocq QC, Bailiff of Jersey, is one of our two Patrons.

We were delighted to welcome The Bailiff to Brighter Futures on Friday, 1st April 2022.

The Bailiff was met by our CEO, Fiona Brennan, charity Founder Wendy Hurford MBE and Chairman Martin Fricker.

During a tour of The Bridge, the Bailiff also met Brighter Futures staff who work to ensure that the families referred to us have the tailored support that they require.

Speaking previously about his appointment as a patron, Mr Le Cocq stated:

"I am delighted to be a patron of Brighter Futures.

Brighter Futures provides important support and learning opportunities, particularly in the area of parent and child relationships.

The Courts all too often are confronted by cases which need not be before it had the parents and children had the opportunity to avail themselves of the services such as those offered by Brighter Futures. Brighter Futures is key in helping parents and children repair damaged or dysfunctional relationships, and provides an enormously important service in the Island in doing so."
