On Thursday 17th June, Richard Harrop, CEO & Founder of Acorn Finance Limited, was delighted to present a donation to Wendy Hurford MBE (President) and Sharon Betts (Community Engagement Officer), for the fantastic local charity, Brighter Futures.
Brighter Futures are and remain an integral part of Jersey’s vital support system for families and their children. ‘Normally’ working with 150 families at any one time, they welcomed an additional 32 families during the pandemic and for the first time in history, 17 families are now on a wait list.
Assisting Richard were Acorn’s rugby guest speakers, Mark Regan MBE and Martin Offiah MBE who provided a very entertaining evening of Q&A to attendees.
